The Innovation Design Consortium (IDC) is proud to launch the AEC Innovation Challenge, a national call for bold ideas and forward-thinking solutions that can shape the future of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Challenge Launch: Week of the AIA National Conference in Boston
Submission Deadline: July 31, 2025

The challenge officially opens during the week of the AIA National Conference and will run through July 31. Whether you’re attending in person or following along remotely, we encourage you to bring your ideas forward—and be part of building what’s next.

The AEC Innovation Challenge is led by Brooke Grammier, Chief Information Officer at CannonDesign, and Bob Rayes, Chief Operating Officer at Corgan—both Executive Committee Members of the IDC. Their leadership reflects a shared commitment to surfacing solutions from across the profession and empowering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
